The longest job I ever held was at the Home Depot.  I worked at that job for four years, and trust me, it wasn’t due to the large amounts of fun I was having wearing an orange apron and steel toe shoes.  Instead, I worked at Home Depot all throughout my university degree because it was a steady job which paid higher than your average minimum wage salary.  On top of that, I was giving tuition reimbursement, so they paid for fifty percent of my tuition and books each semester.  For a student, that is a pretty sweet deal and I couldn’t possible leave that job for something that was more flashy and exciting, but did not offer the same rewards and benefits.
