I was at Heidi’s wedding shower today and I thought about you.  I thought of how life could’ve been different.  That I could be the one sitting in Heidi’s place.  I made the mistake of looking at pictures of you having adventures in the wilderness.  You’re such a brave person, you’re so full of life.  Why is it that you nearly killed the spark of life in me?  The best thing you did for me was to break-up with me.  That’s hard to say.  Because I really loved you and I really wanted to spend my life with you.  But then I would’ve missed out on what came next; what was waiting in the wings.
