Daily Routines Are Not So Bad

Everyday I wake up to a hungry baby and two boys who don’t want to get out of bed. I drag my butt out of bed and make breakfast, get school clothes ready, and brush my teeth. My life is not very fascinating, but I do enjoy it the majority of the time. Once I get my kids to school then I run my errands and play with my infant son until he takes a nap. When he falls asleep then I have a chance to do what I need to do such as cleaning, laundry, phone calls, and other things that I can not do and keep an eye on him at the same time. My middle child is in preschool and gets out at noon so once my youngest son wakes up we are off to pick him up. I am on the PTA so when I pick him up I stop into the office everyday to see if there is anything going on that I should know about. I chat with the principal and staff and then I go home and make whatever arrangements I need to. After I pick up my eldest son we come home and do homework and together. Then My baby takes another nap and I go on the computer and plan whatever PTA stuff that I need to why my other two boys play outback. Soon its time for dinner and my husband comes home. We eat and then play the wii together for a little while until were off to bed. When everyone is asleep it is my chance to unwind on the computer so that I will be refreshed to start it all over again the next day. Boring? Maybe if you don’t have children, but anyone with kids knows exactly what I am talking about.
Looking At History And The Men Who Made A Difference
by admin on May.25, 2010, under General
If I had the chance to meet anyone that I could I would have to choose Jesus Christ. I have so many questions for him, but then again who doesn’t? I would love to be able to sit and have an actual conversation with such a great man. So many questions would finally be answered. Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther king are my second and third choices. These men also changed the world for the better. I place them as wise men in my book. Other then that I can not think of any other person I would want to meet. People who changed history are very important to me. Especially the ones who made the world better. I know there are many people who had there place in history, and did their job well, but only three men have made such a huge difference that it shook the foundations of the world and made a change that helped so many lives change. Of course that is just in my opinion.

Building Pool Tables

When I was sixteen years old I was struggling to keep out of trouble and get my life on track. I had dropped out of school and was heavily addicted to drugs and alcohol. When I finally decided to quit using and get things in order I really did not know where to start. My neighbors had a business of their own and offered me a job building pool tables. They knew my past and told me that it would help me to stay out of trouble. My first day there I remember being so nervous. They had every saw you could imagine and expected me to use them. I was afraid but did not show it, and when they asked me to use the saws I did what they said and got used to it. Before I knew it I became an expert on measurements, cutting angles, and using air tools. I loved my job. There were only five of us so we had to work extra hard to get the job done. Orders started getting bigger so we had to hire on more employees to get them out on time. I worked there for three years. My neighbors treated me like a daughter, and helped save me from jails, institutions, or even death. I will never forget them or the opportunity they gave me.

Even in a Small Part Of The World you can find Magic

There are many events that I like to go to. I love concerts, opera, theaters, sports, and nascar races. The coolest and most unique event I have ever been to would have to have been the plays held at a small park in my home town. Every year about thirty people, men, women, and children, would get together and practice their scripts for a month or so. Then they would sell tickets for five dollars a piece, and put on a show for anyone willing to watch. They would portray Alice In Wonderland, Snow White, and sleeping beauty. It is so neat seeing all these ordinary people acting on a cement stage set up for the play that was chosen. The scenery and the acting was always great even though these were not actors. They always did a great job and those plays are part of some wonderful childhood memories.
Traveling To See Were The Truth Began

Traveling has never really been my thing. I would rather stay close to home. If I was going to travel anywhere it would have to be to Jerusalem. I have always wanted to see the prayer wall and all the sites that I see so often in books, and magazines. I believe in the Holy Bible and what it stands for. I would love to see where Jesus walked, talked, and ate. It fascinates me so much that even though I am afraid of heights. I would travel there in a second if given the opportunity. So much happened their that changed the world. I would just love to be able to touch and see it all in person.

Catalina Romance
by admin on May.09, 2010, under General
Last year me and my husband made a trip to Catalina Island. I had never been and to be honest I was not expecting much. We do not get a lot of traveling opportunitys with my husbands busy work schedule and our three children. I had not been on a vacation in years so even though I didn’t expect much I was still looking forward to just getting away. The island was beautiful. It doesn’t have many attractions but the water was so blue that you could see the ground. We went scuba diving and really had a wonderful time. I have never seen water so clear. Even though it is such a simple place I will never forget that trip. My husband is a romantic and he made it unforgettable. I was spoiled rotten and treated like a princess, and I loved it. So Catalina would have to be the coolest place I have been.
Saving Lives
by admin on May.09, 2010, under More Posts
It’s very common these days in the headlines of the newspapers that so and so house caught trap in fire and a number of peoples died in it. But a little knowledge and precautions taken by the people can prevent such accidents from being happening or preventing further loss of life and property. When a house catches fire the first and the foremost action that should be done is to get it off using water fire extinguishers. Now the question arises how to use it when one gets it. The answer to the above question is as simple as watering a plant. Just one should press the knob with a slight pressure and then the nozzle should be brought in front of the affected area and soon all the doors and windows should be opened to prevent suffocation. Then victims should be taken soon for medical assistance if some serious injury has happened. The most important thing that one should keep in mind is that water should never be poured on fires which have caught due to oils because it may increase the flame and further accident may take place. So it’s all up to you to stay calm in case of any fire takes place and behave sensibly which could save lives.
Sometimes Prayers are Not Answered For A Reason

Recently I had my third child. I was hoping for a girl since my other two children were boys. I prayed consistently every night before my sonogram that I would here ” congrats, it’s a girl”. I had three sonograms during a 3 month period and two times I was told that the baby was to curled up to tell. I thought for sure that this was because it was a sweet little girl. Girls are calm, well at least thats what I thought. My other two children were wild. They would kick and wiggle and spread out even when they were only three months in the womb. This baby barely ever moved, the doctor said that I was lucky because it was going to be a calm baby. The third time around I heard the words ” It’s a boy”, and I have to say I called the doctor a liar. Not to his face but I told him that I was sure it was a girl and maybe something was in the way that made it look like a boy. Seven months later I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, and he is the sweetest most calm and happy baby I have ever seen. If I had known then what I know now I would not have wasted my prayers on a girl because I received three wonderful gifts that I wouldn’t trade for the world.
Electricity

Electricity is the power that drives the world. We cannot think of our lives without power. From televisions and refrigerators to vehicles and computers, everything runs on power. Most of it is provided in the form of electricity that is generated in different types of power plants. These power plants use fossil fuels, nuclear power, wind, water or geothermal energy as the various sources of electricity. The principle was first found by British scientist Michael Faraday that as per the principle when an electrical conductor is rotated between the poles of a magnet, electricity is generated. So,save electricity and save money is my little message for you.
